A bit more about the founder
Ashley is a Brooklyn, NY native, licensed to practice law in New York. She landed her dream job working at a boutique business law firm in New York. Although she was in love with the small law firm intellectual challenges, the entrepreneurial bug bit her and things changed. Life started feeling a bit beige and she longed for more color and art. So she took a leap of faith, and Unorthodox Legal was born.
Fast forward to today: Ashley combines her passion for law and entrepreneurship to help small businesses and entrepreneurs have a proper legal foundation and streamline their business. She is fortunate to have worked with entrepreneurs across various industries: content creators, artists, tech start-ups, online educators, bloggers, designers, coaches, photographers, and so many more.

From a tender age, Ashley remembers being obsessed with fashion. Trending clothes, new styles, brands, high end, low end, you name it! She doesn’t shy away from creating her own style. So, when she’s not lawyering, you can either find her shopping in a store or ordering way too many clothes online.
